Jennifer Imler, Managing Director

Jennifer Imler is the Managing Director of Custom Hedging Solutions, LLC, a subsidiary of Commercial Defeasance, LLC. She joined the company in early 2008 to help start and manage their hedge advisory division. Prior to joining Custom Hedging Solutions, Ms. Imler was a fixed income derivatives trader at Wachovia where she marketed a host of hedging products to business banking, corporate, and institutional clients. While at Wachovia, she spent five years trading municipal derivatives and over two years trading on the CMBS desk. On the municipal derivatives desk, Ms. Imler specialized in reinvestment products including escrows: pricing and winning billions of dollars worth of defeasances in competitive bid situations. As a CMBS derivatives trader, she was responsible for hedging a multi-billion dollar conduit warehouse and structuring over $2.5 billion of derivatives into CMBS transactions. Ms. Imler graduated cum laude from Davidson College with a B.A. in Economics. She is originally from High Springs, Florida, and currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her husband and son.

John R. Hosmer, Jr., CEO

Mr. Hosmer is the CEO of Custom Hedging Solutions, LLC and Commercial Defeasance, LLC. Under Mr. Hosmer's direction and leadership, Commercial Defeasance formed Custom Hedging Solutions to better and more fully serve the needs of its customers. Before joining Commercial Defeasance in 2002, Mr. Hosmer was a senior associate at McGuireWoods, LLP and, prior to that, was an associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP. He received his bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his law degree from Washington & Lee University School of Law.

Jason Kelley, C.P.A., CFO

Jason Kelley is the Chief Financial Officer of Custom Hedging Solutions, LLC and Commercial Defeasance, LLC. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Master's degree in Accounting from Appalachian State University and is a licensed C.P.A. in the State of North Carolina. Mr. Kelley joined Gleiberman, Spears, Shepherd, and Menaker in 2000. In 2002, the firm merged into Grant Thornton where Mr. Kelley was a member of the Real Estate Group and the Banking and Finance Group. During his tenure at Grant Thornton, Mr. Kelley researched and developed concepts for many issues of first impression with respect to defeasance and successor borrowers in the CMBS context on behalf of Commercial Defeasance as a client of Grant Thornton's, including accounting methods, internal controls, monthly reconciliations, tax implications of holding government bonds, revenue recognition, tax basis and the transfer of a defeasance portfolio.

Joshua Cohen, Director of Client Relations

Joshua Cohen is the Director of Client Relations at Custom Hedging Solutions, LLC. Mr. Cohen began his career with Commercial Defeasance, LLC in 2001 and helped the company become the industry leader in knowledge, experience and customer service. He brings the same enthusiasm and commitment to customer service to Custom Hedging Solutions as its Director of Client Relations. Mr. Cohen earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kansas.
